Reading
If you enjoy reading, sharing and discussing books perhaps you would like to volunteer with one of our activity groups.
Once you completed the application you will receive a volunteer welcome pack telling you all about our work. There will be orientation sessions for you to ask questions and find out more details of what we do. As we work with vulnerable groups you will be partnered with another experienced volunteer for support. Training sessions will be held regularly as well as less formal support sessions.
As we work with vulnerable groups you will be provided with a DBS check before working alone with any groups. This is part of our Safeguarding policy.
Resourcing
If you would prefer to work behind the scenes you could use your creative skills to design and prepare craft activities to support each of the Toddler Tales stories. Each book comes with a pack of related activities for exploring the story, role play and retelling. Materials will be provided for you to realise your creative talent as a resourcer.
